Over the summer the Cincinnati Music Theatre Scene Shop got a much needed electrical upgrade with the help of some hardworking volunteers and a couple of Sky Jacks. The scene shop is a critical asset to CMT, providing space for set construction and storage. Already these upgrades have been put to good use on the set construction of Young Frankenstein.
Some of our accomplishments:
- All the old lights taken down
- 15 new very bright florescent light fixtures hung
- A new switch by the door to turn on one light for safety
- A new circuit run down the middle of the ceiling with 3 retractable extension cords
- New conduit and wire run for the new 220V circuit for the table saw
- A dedicated 110V circuit for the chop Saw and 2 extra 110V circuits.
- Storage drawers for tools
- Various Roof repairs
ALL of it completed Well under the approved Budget! Special thank you to everyone who helped including Rick Kramer, Charlie Wilhelm, Gene Boesken, Tom Bergquist, Andre Marley, Chad DeMatteis, Ethan Chamberlain, and Julie Beelman.
