Cincinnati Music Theatre announced its 2018-2019 main stage season with a party Jan. 20, 2018, in the Fifth Third Theatre at the Aronoff Center.
CMT Creative Committee Chair Karen Galliers announced the shows and introduced the directors, who in turn discussed their shows and announced their respective creative teams.
The 2018 fall offering will be My Favorite Year, directed by Doug Berlon. The 2019 spring production will be The Hunchback of Notre Dame, directed by Skip Fenker.
Both shows will play in the Jarson-Kaplan Theatre at the Aronoff. Audition and ticketing information will be announced closer to the production.
The CMT family also celebrated outgoing treasurer Mike Griffin, who is retiring after 20 years of service on the board. The 2018 spring production of Camelot will be dedicated to Griffin in thanks for his long tenure.
The season announcement party also included food, drinks and games like blackjack and Cards Against Humanity.
CMT’s next production will be its inaugural cabaret – Love Is Love – in partnership with the Cincinnati Arts Association. It runs Feb. 9 to 16 in the Fifth Third Theatre. More information and tickets are available here.
